Here’s what I’ve working hard on this past week: November STEM challenges for Elementary Students! My brand new“Spooky STEM” Halloween challenges have been very popular since posting, so I thought I’d keep the ball rolling with a November and December package!
This product will contain THREE Thanksgiving themed challenges for elementary students that are guaranteed to engage students and bring out their inner engineers! Each challenge will contain teacher instructions and material lists (minimal materials found at most craft stores), as well as a student recording sheet for each challenge. There is also a student journal cover that you may use if you are completing the series of three challenges or using as rotated stations. Each challenge will take your students 30-45 minutes to complete, and I suggest that they work with partners or small groups to encourage collaboration.
I know my students are gonna “eat these challenges up” and I hope you will love them too!
Y’all, we love #storybookstem! Today we went on a nature walk and read Leaf Man. Carson’s STEM challenge was to make a leaf creature with his findings. He also experimented with wind and water tests on the leaves he collected. The perfect fall activity! Thanks Brooke and Katie!
