Description
The following Leap Day math stations and activities are perfect for Leap Day on February 29! Differentiated skill options are provided for BOTH LOWER GRADES AND UPPER GRADES!
Each math activity or game is designed to be used with plastic frog flip toys, which can be ordered on Amazon and found at some party stores.
***No frog toys? No problem!
You can also use the included paper frogs with instructions.
Students should work with partners or small groups of up to 6 students, and each station should be modeled and discussed with the teacher before being completed by students. Each station should take students about 20 minutes to complete. To minimize needed materials, I suggest setting up all stations for students to rotate through.
Each station has a card tent with instructions as well as student recording sheets.
