Students can build words independently or materials can be shared among a group of 2-4 students, making these activities perfect for literacy centers. After one set of cups is created, you can reuse this literacy center ALL YEAR LONG with different word patterns!
Students use the templates to place the letter cups or letter pattern cups on the circles. Then, they build the remaining letters in the word by adding letter cups OR writing the missing letters on blank cups with a dry erase marker. After building words, students write them on the corresponding template.
